Hello, I'm Kaitlyn. I was born on March 28th, 1984 in Chicago, Illinois.
I'm an only child...no brothers or sisters. I did however, have LOTS of friends, most of which were boys. So you know I was little tomboy.
Yes! It was all sports for me. No dolls or tea sets! Softball was my favorite sport and I used to play ball every chance I could. I played first base and I have to say I was pretty good. *wink* ;-)
All thru grade school and high school I was extremely athletic and very active. I think that's what kept me out of trouble! *laughs* I played tons of soccer. I was on the basketball & softball teams and, I was a varsity cheerleader. Yep... as you guessed, quite busy!
When I graduated from high school I made a decision to study massage therapy. I took the required classes and began working as a therapist as soon as I was licensed. It's something that I really enjoy.
Working in massage therapy also allows me to work an incredibly flexible schedule while I am getting my acting career off the ground. I've been going to more auditions and getting some valuable experience. That alone has helped a lot. I just landed a part in fitness video. It's been hard work getting started but things are taking off and I think that I've found my "groove". So keep your eyes out for me!
Because of modeling I've been traveling a lot more. When I have a spare moment I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. I have always been very close to my family and they are the coolest people I know. Both of my parents are very supportive of my modeling/acting and have encouraged me to follow all the dreams that I have.
Since I moved into my own place this past summer I 've found that I like to cook. I have fun surfing online and I love to spend time with my cats Sierra and Sophie.
I'm also a huge movie buff! I collect DVD's and have probably over 250 movies in my collection! Drama, comedies, and action... I like them all! Now don't get me wrong...I like to go out to the clubs, dance and tear the town up, but nothing beats a good movie and a big bowl of popcorn in my book. (I'm a big fan of cuddling on the couch)
I'm single right now, but I have to confess I've been enjoying my freedom and I don't know if I'm ready to settle down. I know that I would if I found "mister right". But I think for now, I'm going to focus on my career and see where things go next! |
